I have 2 lines with unlimited data on Verizon. Does anyone know if I can activate an LTE phone with a micro sim, pop that SIM card out and put it in my ipad 3? Would I still get unlimited LTE on the ipad? And to avoid stupid responses, yes, it's an LTE ipad. Thanks

Do I need to do anything special or will it work immediately after inserting it?

As long as it is active, no..easiest way is just make sure he ipad is off and then replace the sim..otherwise, you will need to go nt settings amd reset the network settings.
