Match Downloads Songs I never Bought

When I did my initial Match sync it downloaded 30-40 songs that I have never bought (I can't imagine anybody has ever paid money for these songs). Not really too much of an issue, more curious to see if this is unique to my case or if there is a known reason for it (free music sampler?).
