How do I make sure iPhone temp number doesn't keep getting Messages?
Switching from an AT&T phone to a new Verizon phone. Had a temporary number for the last 10 days and now I'm going to port my old phone number over to Verizon. The only thing I'm paranoid about is making sure my future iMessages don't go to the temporary number after I've given it up.
I've unchecked the temp phone number on my Mac Mini & my iPad iMessages & Facetime. I've turned iMessage and Facetime off on the iPhone5 til the AT&T number gets ported to the Verizon phone. Is there anything else I should do to insure that whoever gets the temporary number next doesn't get my iMessages?? Should I delete my iCloud account on the iPhone 5 temporarily until after the port is complete??
Thanks for your help.
