This hot girl from upstate New York. Her service sucks so we mostly iMessage. She wrote to me today and now we can't talk. Sad sad day.

It's only happened to me once since September. I guess this removed any question whether or not I'll be forgoing my SMS plan with AT&T.

Yep, was having FaceTime issues this morning, leading to the realization that iMessage is also not functioning. Didn't know they were related.

TIP: Double tap an iMessage that hasn't been sent yet, and it will ask you to "Send as Text Message."

This happens to me all the time. Comes through on the iPad about 5-10 mins later, every single time.

My wife's imessage is working. Mine is not. We are 2 feet from each other.

If I try to switch it off then back on it asks for my apple id, but it says it's invalid. Does this for both FaceTime and imessage.

Same here, except mine is now saying Waiting for Activation. Overall iMessage has been a disappointment.

i think they just limited you to sending imessages to people within your "region" because i was asked to enter a region for the first time ever. what's that all about?
