Needed on Mini!

I have a script running that defaults to an ad-hoc network on startup, but apple should allow this anyway when you create an adhoc network (by selecting "Automatically use this network on startup.")

Agree?
Am I missing an update that already does this?

I'm confused by this thread so I need some clarification.... Are you saying that you have a script that builds an adhoc wifi network when you boot up your mini or is your script to connect automatically to an adhoc network?
