Apple Publisher's Guidelines

Hi,

I'd like to know if it is possible to get to the guidelines (commission, restrictions, etc.) of using Mac/App Store as a publishing tool without paying the $99 for the developer's program.

Or if someone would be simply willing to provide a link or something.

Cheers,

Martin

You're probably best off contacting Apple for that.

What leads you to the (mistaken) belief that this is even possible?

Perhaps because he wants to know the terms of the contract before signing the contract?

I was actually going to blog it, because I could not find anything specific or more recent on the internet. But yeah, I will probably need to check them out for my own purposes sooner or later.

It's just so strange that even something like this is kept under the lid.

Best bet, would be to gather intel directly from the developers, I guess.

If anybody would be willing to help me out here, it would be very appreciated.

Cheers,

Martin

So, you're not going to contact Apple?

I did and found out that you can register for the program without paying the $99 fee, but still can't access the App Review Guidelines (which is something kept under the lid, firewood)

Anyway, in case anybody of you is also interested, you can search for Mac App Store Review Guidelines pdf and find several sources of the document. Just make sure it's not outdated.

Cheers,

Martin
