Question for heavy Skype / iPhone users

Who has figured out the cheapest/smartest way to use the iPhone with Skype in the United States?

Does anyone in the US use the iPhone with only Skype (no carrier bill), and pay for some service/device to stay connected away from home/office?

I have Skype Global Unlimited and an unlocked iPhone 4... so I pay Skype every month for unlimited usage.

If you think you've got it all figured out, pls post details and cost.

Well, you need data service. Not sure if you can buy that without phone minutes.

This I know, which is why I'm curious if anybody has this figured out beyond this point, thanks!

You can purchase a mifi and get data that way through a carrier without owning a phone.
