[iPad Mini] If I order online tonight for store pickup, and tomorrow is Thanksgiving....

This is probably a stupid question... If I order an ipad mini tonight on apple's website for store pickup, and I assume the stores are closed tomorrow for Thanksgiving, I should be able to pick it on Friday, right?

What did the store say when you called them?

Yes you should be able to pick it up on friday. I believe they hold your reserved item for 7 days.

They didn't. I sat on hold for 20 minutes and finally couldn't sit on hold any longer. So I decided to inquire with my friends on MacRumors...

They were probably busy telling people they can pick up their online orders on the next business day.
