Will Apple replace my grandson's broken screen
I bought him the iPod Touch for Christmas last year, 2011, if that helps you determine the model. He just broke the screen and is devastated. Will Apple replace the screen for him? What will it cost?
Thanks, Marylyn |

I think it's $150 to replace the screen.

You could also Google for local repair shops. I did that and found a place in Chicago that charged $70 and did an excellent job. Might also want to look into Worth Ave Group which offers insurance for screen breakage, theft and other damages at a very reasonable price. |

Won't replace the screen. Will just swap it out for another one.

There are several good independent repair shops in my area, and their should be in your area as well. $40 to $50 is the average price for the job
