How tough is the MBA (2012 ed) keyboard? - Please help!

Today i accidently dropped my INTENSO hard drive on my MBA (2012) keyboard. It was a 3 inch fall, however the keyboard seems to work okay for now, however the keys are starting to heat around the top of the keyboard. I have forgotten if this is a common thing as my mind is focused on the fall. Do you think any considerable damage may have been done to it?

It's normal that it heats up when you use CPU-intensive appps. Shouldn't be normal when only browsing the web (except when watching Flash-Video)
