File Sharing between user accounts on same MBP

Morning,

I have transfered an account onto a new MBP 15" Retina from my old MBP 17". Both running 10.8.2 . I have a the admin account setup on the new machine and want to access to data in the transferred account. I have tried to change the permissions etc but it still will not let me see the data and in finder the folder shows with a no entry sign.

Ideas please.....
