iPT5 not showing up

its not showing up at all
not in device manager not in itunes
it makes the beep noise when i pulg it in but i cant get it to do anything
itunes isnt recognizing it when i go to the diagnostics in itunes it says i dont have one plugged in, just before this started happening it synced it

wtf
