[iPad Mini] iPad mini and HDMI adapter-Does it output full res?

I would like to know this also as well as if the ipad 4 is hooked up to hdmi will it output at least 1920x1080 to a TV or monitor?

I'm not saying its the same thing but! My iPad mini airplays my movies at 1080p. I would imagine that it would do the same with the wire.
