Apple TV Apps???

Hi all - thinking of getting my grandpa an Apple TV and I'd love for him to be able track his stock on the TV - is this possible?

FYI - my grandpa is 92 and doesn't have an iPhone or iPad (incase its possible to airplay app).

Don't think ATV has that. Some TVs that have apps probably have that ability, but Apple hasn't opened the thing up yet like it has iOS. Hopefully that'll change in 2013. You might see if there's a similar device like Roku that does that. I have seen ads for a box that runs Android apps, but I don't know the name.
