This is good news! I love these new iMacs, but I prefer the outgoing body style.

So if these babies show up tomorrow, it means discounts on the outgoing model might be coming soon!!!

250 dollars I guess, same as Mac mini.

Heh. I just impulsively tried smushing it, and I've seen it many times.

Keep in mind, Arbor Day comes around about as often as the need to “boot” a Mac

I figured I was the only one that had one that old. It barely works, have to do multiple reboots just to get it working, freezes constantly. I think it was too old to put on Lion, even though it met the minimum specs.

Time for a new one?

I told Apple they should make the iMac thinner and they listened to me. The thinner iMac was my idea.

You should have told them to make a new Mac Pro with high-end professional graphics cards. Must have been an oversight!

Yeah, real sad that I can't watch Blueray movies on it. Guess I will have to go watch them in my comfortable sofa on a big 55" TV with very nice surround system. Really sucks

Any company would die to have the kind of demand that you mention. I'm sure they are working as fast as they can to meet the demand, but when demand is greater than supply it's much better than the other way around.

Fast is a relative term. And platter density exists too. Wait for the benchmarks to know how fast or slow it will be.
