Unlocking iPhone 4 on 5.0.1 and 4.11.08

I need to unlock my iPhone 4 that's still on 5.0.1 and 4.11.08. I've been looking up tutorials online but most of them having comments saying they are fakes or that the method does not work anymore. What is the best way to unlock right now, or should I just update to the 6.0 and then try? Thanks.

This. So much easier. It's very inexpensive these days too. I think My last unlock was under $5.00.
