Buy Fusion, then upgrade later to all SSD

Here's an idea I thought may be a possibility. What do you think of the viability of this?

Start out by adding the Fusion option when buying the new iMac and at a later time when OWC/iFixit come up with solutions, remove the HD portion of the Fusion setup and replace it with a second SSD. The result being that you will have 2 SSD's (original 128GB + whatever upgrade you purchase from 3rd party).

Of course we don't know all the specifics of the upgradability of the 2012 iMac, but I have faith in iFixit's magic. Also will have to work out the transfer of data from 1 logical drive to 2.
