Airplay Issues
Bought an Apple TV and Mac laptop in August.
Everything went well and I could use airplay without any issues All of a sudden connection drops off while streaming, changed all the passwords on the router, just in case anyone was interfering, disconnected all bluetooth devices, rebooted, restarted etc. Still not working, what could be the problem here? Please help |

Did you update to iTunes 11 or ATV iOS 5.1.1. There have been home sharing and airplay issues with doing so.

I would maybe try turning home sharing off all the devices and then back on.

You, like the rest of us with iTunes 11 issues will have to wait on the fix from Apple which is reportedly coming soon. In the meantime make sure you extend the Sleep interval in the energy saver preference pane.

I'm having the same issues with Airplay since I updated to iTunes 11. The music starts glitching on & off.
Take a look at the Dec 2 Thread titled "AirPlay unusable in iTunes 11" started by PalacePlayers on this subject. http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1500679 I hope Apple is looking into this........ |
