Print queue loses items to print + auto-generate PDF when printing

Hi guys,

I am a lot on the road and want to print stuff. So, for the last 3 years I just add stuff to the print queue and everything gets printed when I'm back at the office and connect the USB printer.

However, since a few weeks or months, I have noticed that sometimes the print queue is reset and no documents were printed.

I have to lookup every page/email again manually.

Is there a time limit before the print queue is reset? I can go days or weeks without attaching the printer.

Any ideas?

I'd also be happy if every file that I try to print, is automatically converted to PDF and stored in a folder. That way, if it doesn't print, I still have a PDF available for reprinting.

Any advice would be very helpful.
