Ok, so I've had iPhoto for iPad for awhile. I like the editing capabilities a lot, and I'd like to use it to edit my photos. However, I want to know if it can do what I want.

I want to edit my photos in my photostream, IN my photostream, and have them sync across all of my devices. I don't want my originals, thats why I am editing them. I want the edited photos on my mac, iphone, etc, via photostream.

Is the only way to edit the photos, copy them to the camera roll, then delete all the old ones? It just seems so cumbersome.

If its not possible to just edit the actual photo, and have it sync across my photostreams on all devices, is there an alternative that can do so, and is a good editing program? I feel like this should be easier. Or is iPhoto just for editing something quick so you can share it on facebook?

Thanks!
