A 256 GB SSD option on the new 21.5 iMac seems like such an obvious option when you look at options on the new Mac Mini and the new 27. It would be $300; like on the Mini. So obvious that it almost seems like a huge oversight - although I can't believe that happened.

It's the choice that I would have picked. But the Fusion drive will work too.
