I got a base model today. Haven't had a lot of time with it yet but the screen seems evenly lit. Very quiet as well. Seems good so far.

Have a base model in the shop... Looks like an iMac from the front, great from an angle and silly from the side... The pregnant guppy look isn't becoming, IMHO.
