iTunes 11: Random Songs

I downloaded iTunes 11.

There are many random songs that I swear I never bought in my library now. They disappear when I uncheck "show iTunes in the cloud" songs in preferences.

What's up with that? Anyone else have this issue? Are these just "gifts" from Apple?

My father had this same issue. I'm hoping someone else has an explanation?

It appears as though the random songs appear when you select "Show iTunes in the Cloud purchases" in the "Store" tab in iTunes Preferences.

The only problem is that there are songs there I swear I never purchased. Maybe theses are "gifts" from Apple?
