Remote control of MBA with full HD resolution

Hello,

I have a 13" Macbook Air. At home I would like use it with my 24" external monitor and external keyboard. By default the external monitor and keyboard is attached to my Windows 7 PC.
At the moment I use desktop sharing and so I can simply access my MBA with a VNC client. It works but I want a bit more.

1. Is it possible to use a bigger resolution? My monitor is full HD and it would be nice if during the VNC session my OSX desktop also would be 1920x1080 instead of 1440x900.

2. Is it possible to switch off the MBA display completely during the VNC session?

3. Is it possible to close the MBA without sending it to sleep mode?

Thanks in advance!
