My friend had a watch by Alessi that I was always a fan of. We happened to eat lunch at some place in Georgetown that was about 20 feet away from one of their stores. It was a sign.

Just got this Invicta 0851 from Amazon for $61.70. I think it's an awesome looking simple heavy duty watch. What do you guys think?

I'm surprised at how few Seikos are on this thread compared to watch enthusiast sites. Here's my beauty: the seiko snk809.

Wouldn't have it any other way. Battery life leaves a bit to be desired, assuming you check what time it is at least twice a day lol.

I have my 5.11 tactical watch that I already posted above, but recently I felt the need for another G Shock. I saw someones post in another picture forums "recently purchased" and went ahead and bought the G Shock

should be here in about a week or two, bought off amazon.

but what I want is:

Even if I did have enough money for a watch like a rolex, I'd never get a one. Nothing says "I'm a tool" more than one of those.

Love it. The inlaid numbers are platinum too, which have a nice and different look to them. The watch really shines.

Interesting watch, I love Seiko as I mentioned before on here. I wanted to get my wife a seiko, but she wouldn't be happy if I bought her a watch. She'd say I was wasting money. I thought the SUP089 was nice and they donate money to the AHA if bought during the promotion.
