iPhone & iTunes problem
I have NEVER plugged my iphone into my macbook and connected to iTunes.
But now I want to plug it and copy over some ringtones. However, I plug my phone in and I get the option to "Set up as new phone" or "restore from backup from 15/08/12" I presume this is a back up of my girlfriends phone. So am I stuck? Can I never plug my phone into iTunes and copy over content? I don't want to lose everything, and I definitely don't want to restore a 4 month old back up of my girlfriends phone.

Check out iRip (by little apps) this will copy your music and hopefully your ringtones to iTunes for you.
