Yep got my Blueberry iBook today.

Works great! I'm luvin' the Mac experience!

I'm currently exploring OS9 now, I'll keep you updated!

Dont' forget to jack up the memory to 320MB.

Ah, I only wish I had a giddydrag smileV. looks like I'll have to find that 'yay bananna'.
Memory's already @ 320MB but I think you can put up to 512 MB chips in there, but I'm not sure.

I just finished installing OSX on it right now and I'm typing from it yay!

It's not that bad actually, I can still keep most of the eye candy on with decent performance.
I'm going to buy a 40GB 5400 IBM drive to replace the stock 6GB 4200 and keep it as an external.

Now to go explore OSX.......

I've got everything on my PC so until I can figure out how to transfer some files, I'm stuck with what came with OSX, so no smileVs or banannas for awhile.

From OS 10.2 you can easily connect to Windows shares.

Just under the "Go" menu is the "Connect to server" option.

Hit that and type:

smb://<ipaddressofwindowsmachine>

in the address field.

Should come up with a login box and a way to see the windows shares after that.
The one you select just mounts on the desktop 😉
 
Thanx, but all I have is a USB connection, my PC's ethernet card went out.

Anybody know how to connect them with USB?
 
Congrats, I would kill for one of those. My friend has a lime gren iBook. I must say it is one of the coolest laptops ever. Despite the unfriendly names😉

im thinking bout switching computer stores right about now...only if i dont receive an email in a week or so, since it was supposed to be ready monday...ah well...
i cant wait to get my new ibook tho, n hopefully they didnt wreck it lol..
 
and to another computer that gets rid of the happy mac.

less happy macs with default install = more OSX.

yay!!
