I have not found any alternatives but I suggest you put in your order and wait for them to ship. I put in an order online with the ship date of 1 to 2 months and had them delivered in 2 weeks.
I will say they have met my expectations and I am putting in another order. I love them.

Apple shouldn't allow discounts on things like this or they should at the very least reduce the discount. Either way, it is a neat product. Single bulbs are $60.They really are awesome. My apple store also has the starter packs but no singles. The word from my apple sales guy is that they had to stop the employee discount program on the Hue. Too many sales to the staff and none left for the customers.

I have dimmers on all my incandescent lights but often leave my rooms dark to save electricity. With the 8.5 watts max the Hue's pull I have no problem leaving these beautiful lamps on. These have really improved my environment.
I agree with your estimation and have settled on the colors of the Deep Sea environment. I also enjoy them all day long.
