Don't even bother buying iWork, save some money and buy MS Office. iWork is pretty ****** unless you don't care so much about text processing and stuff.

Must have Mac apps? new to Apple
Apps/software to download for new Mac Users
What are your favorite App Store apps?
MBP apps for college student????

Note the Need application suggestions? Look here: section of the following link:

AppCleaner
While you can use them if you like, in most cases, app removal software like this doesn't do a thorough job of finding and removing files/folders related to deleted apps. For more information, read this and this. If you just want to delete the app, drag the .app file to the trash. No other software needed. If you want to completely remove all associated files/folders, no removal apps will do the job.

The most effective method for complete app removal is manual deletion:

I second Caffeine and Postbox (I love that app, much better than Mail). I'm also a big fan of f.lux. It changes your monitor colors based on the time of day (that way the computer doesn't interfere with my sleep as much). That app is the main reason I jailbroke my iPhone.

What??? No one posts "1Password" ? It's my single most must-have app! And add "Dropbox" if you have more than one computer, so you can sync the password file.

Yes. iPassword is a must.

Buy from the Mac App Store and you get a free upgrade to Version 4 coming out next year.

Another utility that is a freaking MUST Have. Moom from Many Tricks. If you've got a 27" display and like to manage your windows there is nothing better.

Unclutter is another great tool for saving clipboard content, transferring files without having to leave full screen or access the desktop. I love it.

Forklift for file management FTP access

Oh yeah, pixelmator is great! I could never understand photoshop. Pixelmator is easier and I could actually afford it lol.
