Lightroom 4 or Aperture?

Hello everyone. I use Lightroom 3 on my 27inch iMac.

I just picked up a 15inch Retina MBP

What do you think would serve me the best/what's the better one to choose?

I am very fluent with Lightroom 3. I have CS5, but I prefer Lightroom for what I need.

Now I have a new laptop and I don't know if I should give Aperture a try. How is it compared to Lightroom? Anything you can do or can't do compared to each other?

Thanks guys!!

I suggest taking this topic to the digital photography forum further down the page. There you can see lots of threads about Aperture vs LR, as well as discussions of plugins for both environments.

There is a sticky thread at the top of that forum on this topic.
