M-Audio Venom Keyboard and USB3

Well, I just bought an M -Audio Venom keyboard to go with my 2012 Mac Mini. and then I found this while down loading drivers on the M-Audio site;

• Known Issue: Venom is currently incompatible with USB 3.0 ports. Please use USB 2.0 ports to connect Venom to your system.:eek::eek::(
Anyone have any insight on this? Anyone want a still in the box keyboard cheap?
