I'm on Snow Leopard 10.6.8, 2.8Ghz iMac, 8GB RAM.
Anytime I try the "search library" function on iTunes 11, it is so slow it's practically unusable - the moment I start typing, I get the spinning beach ball and none of my text even appears... I can type in the whole search string (f.ex. the name of the artist) and it'll take like 30 seconds of spinning before a single letter of my text even appears.
In the previous version of iTunes, I'd type and immediately suggestions would appear as I type. This is insane and practically unusable.
My library is pretty big, 1.5TB, but that was never a problem on the old iTunes! What is going on?? Is there any way to fix this? Is anyone else having this problem? Wow, this is one bad update...
