does anyone have RCT 3? if so, how is it?

also, if someone purchased it from the MacUpdate Bundle, please let me know if you want to sell it!

I'm pretty sure it doesn't work on Lion or Mt. Lion machines. For some reason, I couldn't get it to work, and I don't remember what it was. The heavens heard me cry, though, and it was just released on the Mac App Store. It sucked to have to pay again, but who cares! WOO HOO!

My son really enjoys RCT3. He got the disc version last year. He's been running it on a late 2007 MacBook (Santa Rosa) with 4GB RAM and Lion 10.7.5.

There are many sliders that tweak the level of detail, shadows, etc. and these can balance performance vs realism.

The one setting that made the biggest difference for him was to disable shadows. On a newer Mac it's probably not necessary.

He's had an absolute blast with the software. Sometimes we take turns and compete with each other, so I have enjoyed it too.

He got the boxed version (disc) from Amazon. Can't comment on the version offered through the App Store.
