Sometimes wifi hotspots only allow you to connect one device at a time. Is there a way for me to share my laptop's wifi connection with my iPhone? I don't have tethering enabled on my AT&T iPhone.

Thanks!!

One way to do that is to tether phone to a WIFI router via cable (I don't know if it's do-able on your particular phone) then the router can provide the address translation necessary for multiple end devices.

USB WiFi

I bought a very cheap (£10) small USB WiFi adapter for exactly this purpose. Works brilliantly using standard OSX Network sharing - Phone connects to USB WiFi adapter, MBA connect to Hotel WiFi with internal Airport.
