Warcraft on a 11" air
I just copied my entire world of warcraft folder (size was about 23gb including all my addons) to a 32gb USB 3.0 thumb-drive, booted warcraft from the thumbdrive, and it played perfectly! All addons, graphics set to fair (prolly could do better but didn't try) entered a dungeon and completed it without a hiccup. I tried this because my 11" only has 64gb of space. So, for all who was wondering if playing world of warcraft from a 3.0 USB thumb stick was viable, I can say yeas you can.

That's actually really good to know. I play wow off and on and it will save me a grand from buying the retina pro just for the video card. I don't play the game enough to care about high graphics. Thank you much for the info.

That is good to know. I might just copy my current WoW installation to a USB 3 drive so that I can save that ~30GB. Thanks for trying this out for us.
