itunes 11 how to find playlists on ipod

I can not for the life of me figure out how to access the playlists on my ipod in itunes 11. In the previous versions when I had the ipod connected it was in the left hand column. Now not so much. HELP!!! If there is not a way can someone please tell me how to go back to the previous version because this sucks.
