iPhone charger question

I was wondering with the new iPhone 5 lightening adapter can you just get an extra usb to lightening cable from Apple and plug it into any adapter that plugs into the wall? I have a ton of plug ins with the regular usb connector on them and I don't really want to buy all new adapters for my iPhone. Will it hurt to just use these non OEM plug ins?

The wall adapters will work with any USB cable you plug into it. Even aftermarket cables.

How many watts is the wall adapter?

Yes, any 1amp+ usb wall charger will work. I wouldn't use generic, cloned Apple chargers from eBay though. Stick with name brand.
