Upgrade troubles

I recently bought a GS3 from Radio Shack and I returned it. I planned to buy an iPhone 5 the same day but they said i was ineligible for an upgrade. I called AT&T and they said it could take up to 3 days and it depended on radio shack. Kinda bummed because right now, i have no phone. Anyone have experience with radio shack on these matters? How long did it take? The guy who did my return seemed a little confused just going through the return process...

Wait a few days and your upgrade should be back.
Its not instant to do it the same day unless the rep calls AT&T tries to have your upgrade put back in the system manually.
But a day or 2 wont hurt.

What made you get a 3-4 year old device instead?
People still purchase 3GS models where the new i5 is available?

He is talking about the Samsung Galaxy 3, not an iphone 3 from what I am guessing.

Indeed it sucked. I just need it done for the sale best buy is having. Thanks for the input

I hear you, that best buy deal is sweet.
Hope they take care of it for you quick.
I'd call AT&T tommorow and explain what happened. Maybe they can speed things up with your upgrade restoration.
