Apple II Emulator in iPad browser, who needs an app store?
Came across this amazing Apple II emulator, been using it on a Macbook Air but it seems to run on the iPad.
It's written in javascript and html 5 and runs on just about any recent browser. Nothing to download, nothing to install, it just works. You can load disks, then press power to reset the Apple. GIves an idea of what is possible with html5. Applesoft Basic: http://www.scullinsteel.com/apple2/#prodos LOGO: http://www.scullinsteel.com/apple2/#logo Lode Runner: http://www.scullinsteel.com/apple2/#lode_runner Anyone know the keys? Remember Zork: http://www.scullinsteel.com/apple2/#zork_1 The onscreen keyboard is touch, some lag on the iPad, works better on the Note 10.1. Using a real keyboard with a laptop is best. Lots of neat programs available, can even save your work to the disk and use again. . Last edited by OSMac; Dec 12, 2012 at 10:34 AM. |

Just tried it on an iPad 3. The keyboard seems a bit unresponsive. Is it just me?

then noticed it loaded in the iPad too, but did not try the kb much. ON the Galaxy Note 10.1 there is no lag with keypresses. IT's really best with Iaptop but I am amazed what HTML 5 can do. Last edited by OSMac; Dec 12, 2012 at 11:53 AM. |
