Thinking about selling my iMac while it still have a fair amount of warranty remaining. I know I feel better about buying a used computer if I can still take it in if something goes wrong. The only problem is I have no idea what my iMac would be worth.

Mid 2010 iMac 27"
2.92GHz Intel Core i7
16GB RAM
1TB HDD
160GB SSD
ATI Radeon HD 5750 with 1GB of GDDR5 memory (Upgrade from ATI Radeon HD 5670 with 512MB of GDDR3 memory)
Under AppleCare Warranty until October 2013

So how much do you think this iMac would sell for?

As a starting point, you can check Mac2Sell, eBay (including completed sales), or Amazon for prices of similar models, to get an idea of what a reasonable price may be. Then adjust the price to account for condition, configuration, remaining AppleCare coverage (if any), etc.

I would say.....

$1300-1400 tops. The remaining AppleCare adds value, but then, no functional/cosmetic issues and good care of the machine also are helpful.

Take in account shipping costs/fees if selling through an online site
