SKorea Government says Samsung chip plant caused cancer

http://news.yahoo.com/skorea-says-sa...--finance.html

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — A South Korean government agency said Friday that working at a Samsung Electronics factory caused the breast cancer of a worker who died earlier this year, only the second time it has recognized a link between cancer and Samsung's chip plants. Samsung spokesman James Chung said it will not appeal the government's decision. The company is the world's largest maker of computer memory chips.

If this story was about Apple and its Chinese factories, the article would have gone viral by now all over the Internet. But because the CULPRIT here is Samsung, the unwashed masses will ignore Samsung's faults and give them a free pass. Typical of the double standards against Apple. I'm glad Yahoo and Associated Press is actually reporting this as main page tech news.

Samsung just doesn't have the mass attention grabbing appeal that Apple does, and this is really the only reason Apple gets more of that attention. Gotta sell papers/get ad impressions/rile people up.
