hi all,

need a bit of help here, back again with my trusty maxtor firewire drive.

i have put several files (up to 20.0GB approx.) onto the drive using carbon copy cloner, but i changed my mind and wanted to remove these.....naturally i dragged them to the trash, and ejected the drive.....everything is fine.

next time i reconnect, i have zero files on the drive but out of 200GB, there seems to be a rather large 40GB file which the finder, nor i can see!😱

what is taking up this space in the hard drive, and how would i go about deleting it/making it useable again?

many thanks

tastic

omnidisksweeper can find files and you can use Onyx to show invisible files and then delete them
