Freezes for a couple of secs when pausing torrents.... any solution?

ps- mac mini entry level mid 2011/8gb ram

Does it for me too...I think it's just the nature of the program....might be a bunch of stuff it's doing internally to save the sates of things so it can resume properly if you want it to.

Have you thought about trying uTorrent? I switched from Transmission and have found it a lot less resource hungry and a lot more reliable!

uTorrent is the worst in terms of memory management.
