So I created a one-hour movie in FCPX with about 9 chapters. I then imported the .mov file in iDVD, and the 9 chapters showed up automatically as individual clickable thumbnails. Nice!
But my question is, is this the correct way to create a DVD with multiple chapters/sections? Because I'm also thinking, well . . . perhaps export a total of 10 .mov files from FCPX, one being the entire movie, and the other 9 being the separate chapters. Then, import them to iDVD. If a user clicks the "Play DVD," the lengthy movie plays. If a user clicks on Chapter 5, then its corresponding .mov file plays. But as Chapter 5 ends, will it smoothly transition to Chapter 6?
