I still have two G4 macs running whatever the latest PPC version of Pages 09 is and I'd like to be able to continue opening documents from my newer macs on them. Anyone know if the newest updates break backward compatibility?

I've been searching but cant seem to find anything.

The latest version of Pages '09 is still the current version for Intel Macs. It's just merely been divided into three programs on the Mac App Store and will continue to function with what you have on the G4.

Edited for grammar ~

I just wondered since the latest update says something about "support for 1.7 documents" if upgrading my iOS devices will break backward compatibility of documents.

I.e. will I still be able to download documents from iCloud and open them on my PPC macs?
