[iPad] IPad with wi-fi

I have an iPad 3 with only wi-fi. I have pages & numbers loaded on it. Can I use these items even when there is no wi-fi? I would like to use this for my work and I usually work in empty apartments where there is no wi-fi. So if I write on pages will it be saved?

As far as I know, you can use those applications with no internet connection at all.

Yes, anything you create is saved on the iPad.
