Consolidate library to NAS error 1303 - help needed

I would be really grateful if anyone can help with the problem I am having consolidating my library.

My itunes library is too large (120MB) for my Win7 laptop, so I bought a Synology DS212J NAS. I have created a new 'iTunes' folder on the NAS and mounted it on my laptop. Then I followed the official instructions on how to move my library: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1449

Attempt 1: iTunes error box says files could not be copied, error -1303
Attempt 2: iTunes error box says files could not be copied, error -1303
Attempt 3: 'windows blue screen crash" on my laptop

I'm at a loss what to do next. I really dont want to create a new library from scratch and lose all my playlists. I posted on the synology forum and people said try a windows or apple forum. I posted on the windows forum and was told to try an apple forum (as it's iTunes). Now I'm lost. Any help would be very very gratefully received!
