I'm thinking of switching my unlimited data to a mobile share plan. I use under 1GB per month as do all the 5 iPhones on our plan. It will cost about $30 a month more, but we gain a few more features. Has anyone who gave up unlimited had any regrets? I like to hear opinions.
Thanks

I gave it up and I don't regret it.

I gained Facetime and tethering, and that's cool, but those were side effects. The main reason I did it was because I kept having some family members struggling to stay within their 300 MB plans and others with tons and tons of space left over on their 5 GB plans. Made no sense.

Having the large single 'pool' feels much better to me. Some months one of us is higher and some months another of us is, but the point is that it can shift around from person to person and it's not a big deal.

I see mobile share would be alot better for you guys if you don't ever get anywhere close to 2gb. You can have a bigger pool of data to share from and gain features that you can use. If paying the extra $30 isn't a problem for you then I would say go for it.

Thanks. The main reason the price would go up is because 2 of our lines are still on the old 200mb plan for $15. They occasionally go over their data. I would switch to the 10GB plan for $270 better deal than the 6GB for $265. For 5 iPhones.

Do you know how much taxes and fees are on top of the mobile Share plan? I called AT&T, but they were no help.

Then switching over to shared plan would be the best for you.

It's not a lot. No different then any other plan. Taxes are based on total and the usual cellphone bill taxes.
