tether jailbreak problem

Hi guyz...
I jist want to ask if any one goes with a tether jailbreak on ios 6.0.1 and install any tweak from cydia that require a reboot after installation, what he/she should do to keep his jb and also that tweak installed properly?
Another quick question:
What does "boot tether" do in redsnow?

Any answer would be appreciated

Your second question answers your first. You must boot with your computer.
