I think you're right on this....I have the 4s, and with my mophie charging an extra 75%, I am up to 10 hrs usage and 1 day 5 hrs standby.

Wonder if this would extend battery life for users who already have a positive experience on the i5.

There were battery life issues on the iPhone 5? Maybe I was just surprised at how much more battery life I got when I upgraded from the 3GS, that I didn't notice I was getting less than usual. :)

I can get 6+ solid hours of usage though on 6.0.1.

This usage is when I was playing Arc Squadron most of the time:

I'm getting terrible battery life on 6.1 beta 4. Wifi battery is actually a tad worse, too. Not only that, i am getting lock ups and freezes when I have never previously gotten them. Not too impressed at this point. Only thing I like is being able to use the music app when connected to my car stereo.

This is with a dfu restored iPhone 5 on 6.1 b4. Maybe next time they will nail it.

I would hazard this is due to the apps you have installed. Are you restoring from iCloud after DFU? Another thing to factor is if you are using LTE?

Are those usage times mostly on Wifi or LTE? I can't use the iPhone anymore without LTE anymore, 3G is so slow

I've had very good experience with the battery though, no complains using navigation, browsing and music.

And at moments of crisis, I just turn off data entirely and that seems to help the battery life a lot.
